IT Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive role in improving IT service across the College Group.
- Support the Team Leader in developing and implementing IT strategies.
- Respond to IT requests via phone, email, and in-person within set timeframes.
- Assist in planning IT projects.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, audio-visual equipment, and telephony equipment.
- Escalate complex issues to other colleagues when necessary.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve a variety of IT problems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Liaise with external support companies and equipment vendors.
- Cover for absent colleagues as required.
- Continuously develop your IT knowledge and skills through training.
